Car: Light Mint Green, 1961 Ford Thunderbird
Car's name: I haven't really given her a name. I've just affectionately referred to her as "The Bird".
Car specs: stock - 390, V8, 4 barrel carb.; 3-speed "Cruise-O-Matic trans.; orig. paint and interior. I bought it in May of 1999 with 59,250 orig. miles on it (I do believe it). A true "Grandma car".

I’m so in love with my car that...
I built a garage for her (well, we were sorta building a garage anyway)! I'm pretty obsessed with maintaining her original condition for as long as possible, and keep her garaged at night.

Crazy car story:
I found my car on the internet in San Jose, CA, fell in love with it and pretty much bought it without actually seeing it or driving it first!

How did you become a Belle?
Crafty called me to say she and Mary Mack were starting an all girl vintage car club. All she had to say was, "Come on, you gotta join!" I said, "Okay..." and was the third member!
