I’M SO IN LOVE WITH MY CAR THAT...
I dye my hair to match her! My husband Brett surprised me with Trixie in February of 2000 (unrestored) and spent the next 4 years restoring her. She's my permanent valentine. How can you not love that?.

CRAZY CAR STORY:
Well, I've had some awful dreams about the brakes not working. But so far the craziest thing to happen is that when it came time to reassemble her after almost 4 years of restoration, we were missing a side window. Luckily our first car show occurred on a gorgeous sunny day, and we had all the windows down anyway, so nobody noticed. We never did find that window, but we got another one. Oh - and I managed to put all four armrests back on the doors completely and totally ass-backward.

HOW DID YOU BECOME A BELLE?
At the KEXP Shake The Shack car show, Mary, Sacha and Avry waited until I was all alone, then they surrounded me and said in unison, "we love your car!" It was a scene reminiscent of the movie "Heathers."
Now that I'm out of the hospital, I have to say that my initiation wasn't THAT bad. My scars are already starting to fade. Thank goodness the fire extinguisher was handy that night.
